About Me

I'm a Therapist practicing since 2007, currently in the UK. I trained in Psychology at York University, Toronto, Canada before completing a Master’s Degree in Social Work, specialising in Mental Health and Health at the University of Toronto.

My first job out of University was in the Schizophrenia Department at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health  hospital in Toronto, providing a range of therapeutic interventions and counselling to clients in the outpatient program. I then transferred to the Mood and Anxiety Department at the same hospital where I worked with outpatient clients before coming to the UK.  During this time I also worked at another hospital in a short-stay emergency admission ward, providing therapeutic interventions for clients presenting to the ER in crisis.

From 2009 until I moved to the UK, I served as an Adjunct Lecturer for the University of Toronto, providing Clinical Supervision to graduate students in the MSW, Mental Health and Health program.

Before establishing this practice, I worked for nearly a decade providing Mental Health Assessments and a range of therapeutic interventions to children and teenagers in an Early Intervention program at a Local Authority.

I’m an Accredited Registrant of the National Counselling Society and SWE Member.
